It is important to be smart about what you post, but now there is a new intangible. There is an outfit that does a social media search for negative material about job applicants for companies. So, if you are looking for a job especially one that requires some screening (and don't all of them these days), perhaps posting that video of your drunken karaoke performance, just might not be a good idea.
